Bothus podas is examined from six trawl surveys made in the Central Mediterranean Sea. For the whole sample the growth parameters are L_∞ = 175 mm, K = 0.498 and t₀ = -0.71. The analyses of gastric content showed Crustaceans, Polychaetes, Gastropods and Bivalves as being the main diet of Bothus podas, with a constant predator activity during the examined seasons.
