New northern limit for the distribution of Sternoptyx pseudobscura Baird, 1971 (Pisces: Sternoptychidae) in the Atlantic

In this paper we analyse the capture of a specimen of S. pseudobscura on Flemish Cap (47ºl’N – 46º35'W) in the Northwest Atlantic, wich indicates an important extension of the distribution area of this species as well as its presence in a water mass in which it has not previously been found.
