This issue collects a set of papers presented to the final Conference of the project “Coordinating research in support to application of EAF (Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries) and management advice in the Mediterranean and Black Seas” (funded by the European Commission under grant number FP7-KBBE-2010-4/265648). This conference has placed special emphasis on practical applications and socio-economic recommendations derived from the project, and has been addressed to European and non-European Mediterranean scientists, stakeholders and decision-makers concerned about fisheries and environmental management.
